NOUNS
Nouns are naming words they tell us the names of people, places, animals and things. There are two types of nouns: Common Nouns and Proper Nouns Common nouns are general non-specific names given to people, places, animals and things. Eg. boy, pencil, school, dog Common nouns do not begin with capital letters
Proper Nouns are specific names given to people, places, animals and things. Proper Nouns begin with a capital letter. Eg. Mandy Thomas, John Smith, Tangerine Street, New York City, Nippon Bakery, Canada |
