ADJECTIVES

Adjectives are describing words. They are

used to describe nouns and pronouns.

Examples:

old shoe soft pillow

Here old and soft are adjectives which describe the nouns

shoe and pillow.

She is very pretty.

Here pretty is the adjective that describes the pronoun she.

The puppy was tiny and cute.

Here tiny and cute are the adjectives that describe the noun puppy.
