                Collective Nouns are used to group living and non-living 

                    things together.

                     Here are some examples of common collective nouns:

 

a band of  musicians

a gang of thieves

a choir of singers

a bouquet of flowers

a batch of bread

a flock of birds

a stack of hay

a litter of puppies

a bunch of grapes

a library of books

a forest of trees

a suit of clothes
