PAST TENSE
The past tense of most verbs are formed by adding ed. Past tense verbs tell us that an action has already happened. If the verb ends with e only d needs to be added.
like — liked end — ended
When a verb ends with ay, then ed is added. stay — stayed If the verb only ends with a y. Then change the y to i and add ed
multiply — multiplied |
